Questions

Frequently asked questions

When can I get OnTime, OnTrac and OnFile?

All three are coming December 1, 2026, for Mac and Windows. To hear when they are ready, email [email protected].

Do my documents leave my computer?

Only when you send them somewhere. OnTrac runs on your computer, and your documents never leave it.1 In the OnTrial Notebook, what you type stays on your device.1 OnTime keeps your activity on your computer and sends time entries to Clio only after you approve them. OnFile sends your filing to the court’s portal; the case list it shares with your firm is encrypted so that OnSide cannot read it.

1 If you turn on an optional Claude connector (OnTrial’s is available now; OnTrac’s is coming), what Claude reads goes to Anthropic under your own Claude account. Read Anthropic’s terms of service for more information.

Does OnTime work with Clio?

Yes. OnTime prepares draft time entries for your review and, once you approve them, sends them to Clio. More billing systems are planned.

Which courts does OnFile support?

At launch, Arizona’s state courts through AZTurboCourt and eFileAZ, and the U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona through CM/ECF. OnFile fills in the screens, attaches your exhibits, and stops for you to review and submit. It never pays a filing fee for you.

Can I buy all three apps together?

Yes. The OnSide Suite includes OnTime, OnTrac and OnFile, for less than buying them separately. Pricing will be announced before launch.

What do I need to use the OnTrial Notebook?

OnTrial runs in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on Mac or Windows and in PDF Viewer by Nutrient on the iPad. The User Manual walks through every page.

How is OnTrial licensed?

One license per lawyer. All sales are final. The Terms of Service have the details, and you can verify a copy of an OnTrial Notebook.

Is OnSide a law firm?

No. OnSide Software, Inc. is a software company. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

How do I get support?

Email [email protected] or call (602) 641-9494.

Draft it. File it. Bill it.
